A Critical Season

It is a critical time in Eastern Africa. On 9th January, Sudan will hold a referendum that will affect the future of the country and the possible independence of the South. Meanwhile, Ugandans are preparing for a much anticipated and hotly contested Presidential election. In Kenya, a new constitution is in the early stages of implementation, while several key government leaders have been shortlisted by the International Criminal Court for crimes against humanity. Please pray for peace, justice, and healing in these nations as we begin 2011.

December Update

We arrived back in Nairobi at the beginning of December to 90 degrees and sunny. Josh seems to have adjusted well to the weather and time change. We had a small family reunion with the Amina clan at Lucy's parents place. Here's the group photo along with a close up of Josh.

Baby Bananas
